The History of CARITA Kléber

1995
The end of an era

In December 1995, the closure of the iconic trade fair CARITA International, Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, marks the end of an era. For Antonio, Bastien and Jean-Michel, all three of whom have inherited the parent company’s expertise; this marks the beginning of a new chapter.

1996
CARITA Montaigne and the Golden Triangle

Together, they open CARITA Montaigne, supported by a close-knit team of around fifteen staff members, also from CARITA International, who share the same commitment to excellence.

The salon very quickly attracted a prestigious clientele. Carole Bouquet, Anne Sinclair or even the Princess of Beauvau-Craon become their patrons and help to cement the reputation of a place where elegance and technical mastery are one and the same. Whilst the flagship store on Rue du Faubourg reopened its doors in late 1996, CARITA Montaigne continued, for more than twenty years, to welcome numerous prominent figures, take part in major events, enhance exceptional weddings and train a new generation of talent who carry on the tradition of sisters Rosy and Maria Carita.

2003
A first turning point

Jean-Michel left the project in 2003. From then on, the duo continued as’Antonio and Bastien continue to shape the future of CARITA Montaigne.

2018
A new address

In 2018, after more than two decades of success, the salon had to leave its original premises. Rather than a constraint, this change became an opportunity for a fresh start. CARITA Montaigne moved to a new neighbourhood and set up shop at 44 Rue de Longchamp, just a stone’s throw from the Trocadéro. The salon then adopted its new name: CARITA Kléber. Antonio and Bastien are breathing new life into this new space. For seven years, the loyal team has continued to pass on the salon’s unique expertise, and the salon remains an unmissable Parisian destination where tradition and modernity go hand in hand.

2025
The Momentum of Renewal

The year 2025 marks a major milestone for CARITA Kléber as this was the time Antonio had chosen to hand over full control of the company to Bastien. Bastien then set about a new lease of life, joins the team at highly skilled professionals and involves the living room refurbishment.

New services are being introduced, the range of services is being refined, and the customer experience is being further enhanced.
Together with his team, he is now preparing to mark a symbolic milestone: 30 years since its foundation of the trade fair. Thirty years of excellence, knowledge-sharing and shared passion, driven by a clear ambition: to secure a sustainable future for CARITA Kléber.

2026
Today

CARITA Kléber continues its journey with the same ambition as in 1996: to offer a unique expertise and a renowned beauty signature. Building on its heritage and firmly focused on the future, the salon continues to write its own story… and that of its clients.
